Diploma
in Engineering Technology in Trenchless Technology Course (TT) conducted by
IEWM College, Malaysia will cover the theories behind the appropriate
Underground Infrastructure Constructions practices. It will also provide practical and
theoretical methodology, tools, techniques and emerging technology for the
actual worksite planning including new development, estimation, design,
operations and maintenance and modern engineering management. Such techniques
include learning computer-aided design, lab testing, investigation and
inspection analysis, assist in preparing programming predictive decision
support system of modelling; with specific reference to the International
Engineering references and standards.The
proposed programme shall attract those who are intending to pursue a
challenging working environment and is to be delivered by both academic experts
and industry practitioners from many parts of the world to ensure smooth
knowledge transition for the first cycle of the programme delivery. Graduate
students will be encouraged to progress to undergraduate studies within the
College or its learning partner’s University, which provides a range of
relevant Bachelors’ and Master's courses. In particular, students may decide to
enter the B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, B.Sc. in Geotechnical Engineering or
Bachelor of Land surveying which is subject to enrolments of the respective
University’s requirements.
